To duplicate a food item right click the item and choose Duplicate food item
This will result in a complete clone of the food item. This is useful if, for example, you buy two packs of sausages; just enter them once and then duplicate them or, if you have put sausages in the freezer before, just duplicate that old item and edit it to change the date and/or drawer number
